MX-5 (NCEC)

With an entry in the Guinness Book of Records as the most produced two-seater convertible, the MX-5 is a classic example of a lightweight sports car that is loved all over the world. The low body weight and compact dimensions of this car should help you to chase other cars on courses with a technical layout.

Mazda Speed 6 (GG3P)

A sporty four-door sedan that combines a 4WD system and turbo engine with an Atenza chassis. Because the chassis is high quality, it doesn't change shape, even when the power of the car increases. It is a little bit heavy, but that doesn't stop the high-torque engine from giving you ultra-acceleration.

RX-8 (SE3P)

Although it has a unique double four door body, but it has anteroposterior weight balance inherited from the RX-7 and a sophisticated FR layout. Because it is well balanced, the car feels light on the road. The new generation rotary engine gives you more comfortable blow-ups.

RX-7(FD3S)

In addition to its sophisticated FR layout, it was designed considering anteroposterior weight balance and aerodynamic effect. It is very good at turning corners quickly at both high and low speed. However, you may sometimes feel sluggishness when accelerating because of the narrow torque associated with rotary engines.

Savanna RX-7 (FC3S)

Has a sophisticated FR layout. It is relatively old-fashioned in comparison with the FD3S, but the ease of movement that comes from the simple underbody structure makes this an ideal car for beginners. The narrow torque that comes from the rotary engine is the same as that in the FC3S.

Eunos Cosmo (JCESE)

Luxury coupe with 3 rotary engines which used to be found only in racing cars. It is not so good for racing, but you can expect good acceleration in high-speed areas due to the smooth blow-ups from the 3 rotary engines. Its large body is also the most effective in the highest-speed areas. However, due to its heavy weight, it sometimes gets slow at corners.

Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A)

The Lancer Evolution has evolved into a tenth generation car.
The Lancer Evolution X is based around a whole new car model and has a revamped engine, making it the most revolutionary step in the evolution of the car.
The slightly larger body makes the car feel stable, and the newly developed S-AWC System and Twin Clutch SST combine to make this car a safe-feeling ride for all, even at high speeds. Being a 4WD, it takes a while to hit top speed, but its all-round performance makes it well equipped to tackle any stage.

Lancer Evolution IX MR (CT9A)

The third-generation Lancer Evolution final model. You can feel much faster gas pedal response thanks to the MIVEC system added to the engine. The front bumper was created using feedback from endurance race drivers, and will help you to stabilize driving both in high-speed areas and low-speed areas. GDB-F is the rival of its generation.

Lancer Evolution VIII MR (CT9A)

A 4WD machine for all situations, made with a focus on weight saving and barycentric position. It has an aluminum roof panel and carbon rear wing. Equipped with computerized controls such as ACD and AYC, it is a 4WD car that is good at turning corners. But the slow top speed is the weak point of rally-based machines like this. GDB-C is the rival of its generation.

Lancer Evolution VI (CP9A)

It is a Homologation model belonging to Group A that once won the driver's champion in WRC. This car's sophistication as a car for motor sports will satisfy both beginners and advanced players. The torque is a little poor compared with CT9A, but you can feel the acceleration and cornering that come from its light body. But the slow top speed is the weak point of rally-based machines like this.

Lancer Evolution V (CP9A)

It is the first model in the Lancer series whose tread was widened to 3-digit size. The basic characteristics of this car are very similar to the Lancer Evolution VI, but the specifications of the underbody allow you to drive on rough ground. But the slow top speed is the weak point of rally-based machines like this.

Lancer Evolution III (CE9A)

This is also a Homologation model belonging to Group A that was very successful in WRC. The narrow-sized body is in the 5-digit range, falls into the lightest category, and has fearsome acceleration. This car has good acceleration and is appropriate for beginners who tend to make mistakes. Because Evolution III is a rally-based machine, its top speed is slow.

GTO (Z16A)

This is Mitsubishi's flagship model, full of leading-edge technology from when it was made. The torque from the 3 liter V6 twin turbo engine is astonishing. You must take special care when braking because it is heavy, but it is one of the most stable cars in the ultra high speed area. Even though it is a 4WD car, you can use this car to try for the fastest speed.

Nissan

GT-R (R35)

This sports car was designed as the flagship of Nissan Motors.
With a transaxle layout that connects the hand-built engine to the transmission and rear differential, the car has features that were until recently only seen in racing cars. The body is solid, giving a stable feeling to the vehicle. This, along with the electronically-controlled 4WD system makes this a real all-round car.
*You cannot mount Dress-up Parts on this car.

Skyline GT-R (KPGC10)

The first-generation GT-R is still mighty popular, even now, forty years after it first went on sale. The car claimed many victories on the race scene when it first appeared, and since then has further cemented its place. The engine is a legendary In-line six. The body is light, with almost no electronic devices, and the layout is an orthodox FR, giving the car straight-up handling. 

Fairlady Z (Z34)

While the body sizes of many vehicle models have become larger in recent major model changes, the newly upgraded Fairlady Z model received a shorter wheelbase and larger engine displacement. The new Fairlady Z model was developed to provide higher performance. The aerodynamic body with its compact two-seat cabin contributes to improved top speed. Combined with responsive handling offered by the front-engine rear-drive system, the Fairlady Z performs marvelously on medium- to high-speed racing circuits.

Skyline GT-R (BNR34)

Even though this car is a 4WD, it has FR-like characteristics. It has the most aerodynamic body of all modern GT-R cars, so it is really fast in high-speed areas. Its strong body makes it possible to turn corners easily. Although it is relatively slow at braking and acceleration, its overall performance is good.

Skyline GT-R (BCNR33)

Even though this car is a 4WD, it has FR-like characteristics. It is very stable in high speed areas because it has the longest wheelbase of all modern GT-R cars. However, it is sometimes slow when turning corners. Its stability in straight lines is been proved by its excellent performance in the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race.

Skyline GT-R (BNR32)

Even though this car is a 4WD, it has FR-like characteristics. Its design is the oldest of all modern GT-R cars, but because it is also the lightest, and its acceleration from low-speed areas and speed at the corners are great. You must be careful in ultra high-speed areas because it has a short wheelbase.

Fairlady Z (Z33)

Although it has large emission volume of 3.5 liters, it has simple handling, thanks to its short V6 engine. Its ground-hugging form generates stability at ultra high-speed areas.

Fairlady Z (Z32)

Although it is from the same age as R32GT-R, this car is famous for its specialty car character rather than its driving style. Even so, its aerodynamically effective streamlined body and the power of its 3 liter twin turbo engine let you feel its latent potential strength. This can be faster than the latest FR cars, depending on tunings.

Fairlady Z (Z31)

This is the first Fairlady Z car to be equipped with a V6 engine. This car is more like a specialty car, but its good balance, thanks to the short engine length and compact body that falls into the range of 5-digits, sometimes displays unexpected potential power. Because its engine scheme is a little old, you should compete at corners using its light body rather than trying to win using power.

Fairlady Z (Z30)

This is an orthodox FR layout car with a traditional L-form 6-cylinder engine. Its power is relatively low compared with modern high power cars, but it runs like an arrow in a straight line due to its lightweight and narrow tread. This sports car has had victories at Safari Rally and other locations.

Silvia (S15)

This is one of the few coupe-type FR machines with 4-cylinders. With small emissions volume, it can be a little weak in the battle of peak power. But, it is one of the lightest FR machines in this game, which lets you compete with other heavy-class FR cars.

180SX (RPS13)

This is a hatchback car whose chassis is common to Sylvia type cars. It has a rear window that is relatively larger than coupe body cars, and more weight on the rear side. This car uses retractable headlights, rare in this age, and which make a difference in aerodynamic effectiveness. You may get a different impression from Sylvia cars although they both use the same type of chassis. It has been popular for nearly 10 years.

Impreza WRX STI (GRB)

The Impreza WRX STI has gone through a body shape overhaul, moving from a 4-door sedan to a 5-door hatchback. The new double-wishbone rear suspension makes for stable cornering. The Impreza's symmetrical layout and engine with a low center of gravity follow in the footsteps of the car's predecessors, making this a vehicle you can trust. Being a 4WD, it takes a while to hit top speed, but its all-round performance makes it well equipped to tackle any stage.

Impreza WRX STI (GDB-F)

This car is the late age model of 3 GDB type Impreza types. The basic chassis capability is the same as GDB-C, but the form of front part has been changed to improve aerodynamic effectiveness. It has become a fast 4WD car thanks to its sophisticated under slung chassis and DCCD. However, the slow top speed is the weak point of rally-based machines like this. Lancer Evolution IX MR is the rival of its generation.

Impreza WRX STi (GDB-C)

This car is the middle age model of 3 GDB type Impreza types. It has a horizontally-opposed engine at a low position and is equipped with DCCD as a driving system. This machine layout allows you to turn corners easily. But the slow top speed is the weak point of rally-based machines like this. Lancer Evolution VIII MR is the rival of its generation.

Impreza WRX STi VersionVI (GC8)

This car was once the Homologation model in Group A. This car's sophistication as a car for motor sports will satisfy both beginners and advanced players. Legacy B4 (BL5)

Although this car has the same type of drive train as Impreza cars, it has saloon-like character. Its appearance is quiet, but once you jam down the accelerator, it gives as much power as Impreza cars. It may get faster than other 4WD cars, depending on your tunings.

Alcyone SVX (CXD)

This car is the flagship model of that age. Many people like its flowing and elegant style. This specialty car's handling is so stable that you do not get tired even after a long time driving at a high speed. This car's advantage is the driving capability, thanks to the device from which DCCD in GDB-type Impreza cars were born. The heavy weight of this car makes cornering a little bit difficult, but its acceleration to top speed and stability is one of the greatest.

Toyota

Supra (JZA80)

This car is Toyota's flagship model. Its torque from 3-liter inline 6-cylinder and wild yet stable body enable stable driving in both low-speed areas and high-speed areas. There are a few difficulties in cornering due to the weight on the front part, but it is one of the fastest machines in Wangan line.

Supra (JZA70)

This car is the final model of the 70 type Supra which once participated in races and rallies in Group A. This is the specialty car flagship model of Toyota of this age. Its 2.5-liter inline 6-cylinder, the same as the Chaser, It is the highest in both horsepower and torque of all Toyota car of this age. Its relatively large body is appropriate for Wangan line.

MR2 (SW20)

This car adopts midship layout which is not popular in production vehicles. This car's basic chassis capability is high because it adopts the midship layout used in racing cars. The moving of the rear is sometimes jittery because the range of the tire is limited in production vehicles, but if you can control this thrilling car, you can feel the so-called "driving high".

Chaser (JZX100)

Although this car is a high-class saloon car, it has high engine power. You may think it difficult to control this large body, but its handling is very good, due to the FR layout and 4-door orthodox structure. If you like 4-door cars, you should choose it.

Aristo [JZS161]

This is a 4-door sporty sedan car with lots of internal space. Although its max output level falls into the range of self-imposed regulation, its large emission volume and twin turbo engine generate extreme torque. Its engine power is higher than normal sports cars. And because it is a 4-speed shift car, you can enjoy driving comfortably.

Celsior [UCF10]

This is a big sedan with the largest emission volume and largest number of cylinders in this game. This rich engine power is only for actualizing a rich driving experience, not for pursuing high speeds. But once you try this, its surprising "power", not speed, will conquer all other cars.

I’m a newcomer, and the chief director, “Hiroma Mori.”

In this series, Hiroma Mori received the baton of chief director. I would like to introduce myself here.

I worked on various games such as combat fright games, action games, and casual games, but, wow, racing games are also really deep!
I was so surprised when I first played the game as a development staff member. As a racing game, they are full of elements to entertain customers like “Episode 100!?”. “Dress-up Level!?”, and “Battle with someone else’s ghost!?”.
I also sense that you, the players who have completed those elements, are frightening…

And then, as a game, the much more upgraded Wangan Maxi 3DX PLUS has now been released!!

Two new additional cars including the long-awaited NISSAN GT-R (R35), a new course, additional dress-up parts including new stickers…We are sure this game will also be enjoyed to its maximum by the players.

BGM, one of the Wangan Maxi series attractions, is, of course, added as well.
